Terms of use

Last updated 29 October 2026

These terms apply when you use TellyJam: the browser extension, its party server, and the pages on tellyjam.com and party.tellyjam.com. By using TellyJam you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What TellyJam does

TellyJam keeps a video playing at the same moment for everyone in a watch party, and adds chat, reactions and calls beside it. It never streams, records or shares video or audio. Each person watches on their own account with their own subscription to the service.

TellyJam is free. There is no account to make.

Your streaming services

You need your own account with each streaming service you watch, and you must follow that service’s own terms, including its rules on where you may watch, how many screens you may use and who may use your account. TellyJam is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO Max, Amazon, or any other service or site it works with. Their names belong to their owners.

Using TellyJam fairly

Please do not:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it, with TellyJam;
• harass, threaten or abuse people, or send hateful, sexual or violent content to people who did not ask for it;
• send spam, or use invite links, chats or calls to trick people;
• share anything you have no right to share;
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of our servers, or reach data that is not yours;
• use TellyJam to stream, record or copy video from any service.

Hosts can remove people from their party. We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules, and we may remove content that we are told breaks them.

What you send

You are responsible for the names, messages, GIFs and other things you send. They stay yours. You let us carry them to the people you send them to, which is all we use them for. Our privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.

TellyJam Plus

If we offer TellyJam Plus, its price and what it adds are shown before you buy. Payment and the license key come from our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, under its terms. A key is for your own use; please do not share or resell it.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep TellyJam running well, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees. Streaming services change their sites, and a change can stop TellyJam from working on a service for a while. Parties, chats and calls may sometimes drop or be unavailable.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using TellyJam, or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away.

Stopping

You can stop using TellyJam at any time by removing the extension. We may change or stop parts of TellyJam. If we stop it altogether, we will say so on this site first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date above. If you keep using TellyJam after a change, the new terms apply.
