Watch Prime Video with friends in other places, at the same moment. Ads included: when someone reaches an ad break, the party waits for them.

TellyJam is coming to the Chrome Web Store soon.

Tested live on Prime Video in Chrome, on a plan with ads. Steady sync stayed around 20 milliseconds, with no stray pauses, including around ads.

  2. Open Prime Video, pick a title and press play.
  3. Click TellyJam in your browser’s toolbar and choose Start a party. The chat opens beside the video. If you don’t see TellyJam, click the puzzle icon and pin it.

Join a party

  1. Open the invite link in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer.
  2. Choose Join the party. TellyJam opens the same title on Prime Video in that tab and joins you in.
  3. No TellyJam yet? The invite page shows how to add it. Then come back and join with one click.

Ads, handled

Prime Video puts ads inside the video itself, so each person’s player clock includes the ads they saw. TellyJam keeps track of every break and syncs on the show’s own time. People with ads, with different ads or with no ads stay on the same scene, and the party waits while anyone is in an ad. How TellyJam handles ads.

Does it work on Amazon’s own website?

Yes, on the video pages of amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.co.jp, amazon.in and amazon.ca, and on primevideo.com.
